Troubleshooting
Common fixes for Shob AI download, install, and update issues.
Download issues
If a download button does not start a package download, open the full GitHub Releases list from the download page and choose the asset manually.
Package choice issues
If you are not sure which package to use:
- macOS users with Apple Silicon should use the Apple Silicon package.
- Windows users should use the x64 installer.
- Debian and Ubuntu users should use the
.debpackage. - Other Linux users should try the AppImage.
Update issues
If an update downloads but does not install, close Shob AI completely and open it again. If the update prompt returns, choose Restart & install.
App launch issues
If Shob AI does not open after installation:
- Confirm your operating system matches the package you downloaded.
- Download the latest release again.
- Reinstall Shob AI.
- Check the project repository for known issues.
