By downloading, installing, or using shob AI Agent ("shob", "the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Software.

These Terms apply to all users of shob, including users who access it through the desktop application or source code.

shob is a free, open-source AI agent workspace that allows developers to run multiple AI coding agents in parallel within a local environment. It is designed to help you automate code review, refactoring, testing, and other development tasks.

shob is provided under the MIT License. The source code is publicly available and may be freely used, copied, modified, and distributed in accordance with that license.

shob is and will remain completely free to use. There are no subscription fees, paywalls, or premium tiers. You are not required to create an account or provide any payment information to use the Software.

The Software is licensed under the MIT License. You are free to:

• Use shob for personal, educational, or commercial purposes at no cost
• Fork the repository and modify the source code
• Redistribute shob or your modified versions, subject to MIT License terms
• Contribute to the project via pull requests and issue reports

shob allows you to integrate with third-party AI providers by supplying your own API keys and credentials. These integrations are entirely optional and at your own discretion.

• You are solely responsible for obtaining and managing API keys from third-party providers
• Each third-party provider has its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which you must independently review and accept
• shob does not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for any third-party service
• Costs incurred from third-party API usage are your sole responsibility
• The security of your API keys and credentials is your responsibility

If you choose to integrate a third-party AI provider, you do so at your own risk. shob simply provides the interface — the integration and its security are entirely under your control.

By using shob, you agree to:

• Use the Software in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws
• Not use shob for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purpose
• Take responsibility for the AI-generated outputs you act on — AI agents can make mistakes
• Back up your code and data before running automated agents on your codebase
• Manage your own API credentials securely and not expose them publicly
• Review and approve all agent-proposed changes before they are committed to your repositories

shob is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Guarantees that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated outputs
• Any warranty regarding the suitability of third-party integrations

You use shob entirely at your own risk. Always review AI agent output before applying changes to production code.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors of shob shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of shob
• Damages arising from third-party integrations you connect to shob
• Any errors, bugs, or incorrect output produced by the AI agents

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with shob is to stop using it.

shob does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All agent sessions, files, and outputs remain on your local machine. We have no access to your code, credentials, or any data you use within the Software.

shob is open-source software released under the MIT License. All code you write using shob remains entirely yours. We make no claim to any code, output, or intellectual property you produce using the Software.

The shob name, logo, and brand are owned by Olova Labs. You may not use these marks in a way that implies official endorsement without written permission.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page. Continued use of shob after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We will notify the community of significant changes via our GitHub repository.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the MIT License and applicable open-source software norms. For any legal disputes, please open a discussion on our GitHub repository first — we prefer transparent, community-based resolution.
